About ARO Designs

We can tell your story...

We are a design studio, co-founded and directed by the husband-and-wife team of Michael and Lynda Sheets. We extensively employ computer technology (Macintosh™, Windows™, iOS). We also work with talented individuals across the US, who contribute their expertise for large or special projects.

"ARO" is a New Testament Greek word for “art” that means, “to fit.” We have two "sub-divisions" -- ARO Designs Games (focuses on game development) and TapFlap™ Books (interactive applications for children).

Michael Sheets—

Michael is an artist, graphic designer, photographer, videographer, art director, project manager and writer/editor. During the 1980s and 90s, he planned and managed the conversion of many traditional art and printing businesses into computer graphics operations. Michael has developed and taught seminars and college courses on illustration, graphic design, computer graphics and writing. He was on the development team for the best selling computer game, RIVEN.™ He was featured as a “Designer Technologist” in Getting the Max from Your Graphics Computer (North Light Books).

Lynda Sheets—

Lynda is a traditionally trained graphic artist, designer and illustrator and an early adopter of computer technology. She is a gifted 3D artist with expertise in Maya,™ and other 3D applications.
